Summary

Wow! I think I really wanted to do this thing. Up too early and lots of writing. I grabbed a story start for something I really wanted to write and in a morning session, evening session, and during a few breaks wrote 4,000 pretty clean words and made it to the end of the story. It's a fun, fairly light romance set in a post-zombie-apocalyptic Arizona. Yeah, it's a little weird and very fun to write. This is one of those serialized stories I want to write and I started it with a 9,000 word story last month during training. The tentative title is "Woody and June vs. the Fungus-Head Zombies". I'm going to let this one rest for the day and try to read it to my wife tomorrow before sending it off to Dean.

Stats for Today

Strategies Employed: Story start. Serialized story.  Setting I am familiar with. Something I really wanted to write. Lessons Learned: Fast out of the gate. I know this is not a sustainable pace and some days will be much slower. Words Written: 4,000 Hours: 3.25 Stories Sent to Dean: 0
